If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we are here to help with our return policy.
Delivery Areas
Malt Donkey currently ships Australia-wide.
If any postcode or region is excluded from delivery, this will be clearly displayed at checkout before you complete your order.
2. Order Processing Time
Orders are generally packed and handed to our delivery partners within 1–3 business days after we receive payment.
During peak periods, promotions, or unexpected delays, processing times may be slightly longer, but we’ll always do our best to get your order on the way quickly.
3. Estimated Delivery Timeframes
Once dispatched, typical delivery timeframes are:
Metro areas: approximately 3–7 business days
Regional and remote areas: approximately 5–10 business days
These timeframes are estimates only. Delays can occur due to factors outside our control (for example, courier delays, severe weather, or public holidays).
Shipping Fees
Shipping fees are calculated at checkout based on your delivery address, order weight, and/or value.
Any free shipping promotions or flat-rate offers (if available) will be clearly shown on our website or at checkout.
5. Responsibility for Goods
Risk in the products passes to you once your order has been delivered to the shipping address you provided at checkout.
If your order appears to be lost, significantly delayed, or arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as possible with your order details and, where relevant, photos of any damage.
Subject to any rights you have under Australian Consumer Law, we will work with you and the courier to investigate and, where appropriate, arrange a replacement or refund
Alcohol Delivery Requirements
Malt Donkey complies with all applicable liquor licensing laws.
Alcohol can only be delivered to persons aged 18 years or over.
The person receiving the delivery may be required to provide proof of age. If they appear under 25, a valid photo ID must be shown.
We will not deliver alcohol if the recipient cannot prove they are 18 or over.
We will not leave alcohol unattended at the premises unless:
You have clearly authorised “Authority to Leave” at checkout or with the courier; and
Such unattended delivery is permitted under relevant state or territory liquor laws.
If delivery cannot be completed because age cannot be verified or unattended delivery is not allowed, your order may be taken to a collection point or returned to us. Additional redelivery or handling fees may apply.
